okay. im single again. there i said it. its kinda fun though. especially hanging out with joelle and johanneka. jacko doesnt count as ’single’ anymore. lol. good for her! (totally cute by the way)
i learned im sick of drama. i need a break from it. but it keeps finding me! help ah!
AND im not so good at not having plans every night. this whole ’stay at home’ concept is a little hard to grasp. but im working on it…

okay, so i answered the phone and it was some dude from a travel agency asking for my dad. i obviously said he wasnt there, but i was his daughter if there was some sort of message. the dude asked me how old i was, after a long pause and me going..’hello…!?’. so i said i was 19. i figured he wasnt supposed to give any type of info to minors or something…i didnt put alot of thought into it. he then asked me if i had a ‘my space’ account. i said no, and wondered why a travel agency would be promoting ‘my space’. he then went on to ask why, didnt i like art, music etc? i said yeah…but i dont need to put it up on ‘my space’. he went on saying that oh, cus he had one and he was in a band and they put their music on there so i should check it out sometime. and i could put my picture on there and then he could see what i looked like, and we could say we met over the phone! sooo before this guy had our life planned out with six kids and a porch swing, i said ‘dude….i think you need to get a life..’ and hung up on him just as i heard him chuckle and begin to say soemthing else.

so thats my story. interesting ,eh? i must have a totally seductive voice on the phone or something. sheeesh!

okay im back at school, trying to get through my yucky 6 hour break today. it is CRAWLING by today for some reason. i was in a pretty awesome mood this morning i must say. it probably had something to do wiht the awesome bible study some of us girls had last night. we talked about prayer and stuff. it was great. and then this morning the weather was beautiful, i love not being hit with a freezing wall of cold when i step outside.
sooo i had a blood transfusion last thursday. i had a hemagloben (red blood cell) count of 77, normal is about 140. so i was pretty tired, pale…getting a tad dizzy. but i didnt realize the extent of my tiredness until AFTER they started giving me blood. (sounds gross..trust me I KNOW. it IS kinda gross…but i suppose it’s worth it.!)
so i gotta wicked bruise on my right wrist now. its huge. haha brian said no one is more proud of their bruises than i am….
so my lovely cousin lisa got married this past saturday. she looked beautiful. I wish her the best in her marriage, and that they keep God as their focus. The reception was at an old train station in Hamilton…it was GORGEOUS. and me, adam, uncle ray and Brenda totally danced our butts off. it was great..
the country was well represented at this wedding, some people were doing a super cool ho-down!! i couldnt help but laugh cus i totally wish i could do that!!
sunday we also had killer young peoples. suuuuch a good discussion. it was about ruth laying down at boaz’s feet, whether her and naomi were being too pushy…whether they should have waited for boaz to come to them….whether it’s okay for girls to ask out guys (which of course it is, as long as the girl doenst end up with the headship role) it was really good.
and at bible study last night we talked about prayer and how so often we as girls find it hard to pray out loud, for a group. and we end up thinking more about how eloquent we sound…using big words…whether or not we sound like we know what we’re talking about. But how it doenst matter HOW we sound, it’s about what we say and that God alreayd knows what we want to say and what we are feeling so its all good.
So yes. that was a pretty good weekend. And i think tonight im watching scary movies with mel and steph…and our boyfriends i suppose lol…but we dont like scary movies….so we shall just have to wait and see how that goes.

okay. SO. i had a pretty good weekend. On friday i hung out with steph..we saw ‘the prestige’…super good movie by the way..then we bought her hair dye and we went back to her house where i dyed her hair and we had a sleepover! cool!! then we got ready for Brittany Ormel’s wedding to Dave VanHuizan together in the morning. The reception was tons of fun. We all danced our butts off until it was late then had to rush home to get to bed so we wouldnt be too exhausted for church in the morning. I LOVE DANCING!!
Anyhoo..i was pretty tired yesterday and had a hard time getting up to go to school this morning.and here i sit.
So this summer i started interviewing my grandparents..via email…and they are so interesting im in awe. i just got another email all about Grandpa and his life during WW2, and then going to Indonesia. its incredible. i would suggest you all ask you grandparents about their lives. wow.
